In other words, I'm not just trying to add to the massive pile of advice that is out there on the internet.
What I'm trying to do is help you to find your way through it so you can start to live SOBER.

But if you get a vague sense of being overwhelmed from this checklist – take a breath. You don’t actually have to do everything on this list, particularly in early sobriety.
Don’t look at the actions that you don’t take, celebrate what you can do. Check off what you can – and feel good about it!
N.B. The list assumes that you don’t smoke or vape and that you have a solid base to work from, i.e. you have an income, accommodation, transport and healthcare. If you have issues with any of these, focus your energy there before you get too carried away with this checklist.
